The Bairnsdale PistolClub has had a fairly consistent membership since the club started in the 1960s and offers:-

* Comfortable indoor Air Pistol Range with motorised targets.
* 25m and 50m ranges with auto timers and turning targets.
* A new purpose-specific recently completed Single Action range.
* Turning targets on the 50m Range can be set at any distance and brought as close as 7 metres for various matches.
* All weather, undercovershooting.
* Excellent clubhouse with heaters, fans, microwave oven and othercooking facilities, lounge chairs,TV and magazines etc.
* FREE tea, coffee, soup and biscuits for members.
*Prizes for Club Competitions.
* NO Weekly Fees, Match Fees or Target Fees for members.
THE SPORT
Pistol Shooting is one of the few sports catering for the whole family. The sport has one of the largest memberships world wide and is also one of the safest.
The words "pistol shooting" often conjure up images of gun toting cowboys or duels at dawn. In actual fact it is a fun and demanding sport that can be enjoyed on a variety of levels.
